Volumen es una búsqueda entre lo escultórico y la fotografía. Un estudio para escapar de las dos dimensiones físicas e indagar la tercera fuera de lo visual a través de la propia materia. Esta materia en sus tres estados conocidos (solido, liquido y gaseoso) es donde se desarrolla el propio método de trabajo, pero donde hay que acotarlo. Los elementos se aíslan abstrayendo fisicamente el aire dentro de unos límites, haciendo que el soporte habitual de la fotografía, el papel impreso se adhiere al material fotografiado, haciendo un ejercicio de abstracción dinámica y atrapando su esencia propia. Así como el escultor hace un primer boceto en escayola y luego lo copia en bronce. En los últimos tiempos donde la impresión en 3D parece que marcara el futuro, quizás ya el presente, la realización de este estudio intenta indagar en los predecesores de los mismos y situar un nuevo lenguaje en la simbiosis de diferentes formas de representación.

Volume is a search between sculpture and photography.
A study to escape the two physical dimensions and inquire the third outside of
the visual through the matter itself.
This matter in its three known states (solid, liquid and gaseous) is where the working method itself develops, but where it must be delimited.
The elements are isolated physically abstracting the air within limits, making
the usual support of photography, the printed paper adheres to the material
photographed, doing an exercise of dynamic abstraction and catching its essence
own. As the sculptor makes a first sketch in plaster and then copies it in bronze.
In recent times where 3D printing seems to mark the future, perhaps the
present, the realization of this study tries to inquire into the predecessors of the same and to place a new language in the symbiosis of different forms of representation.
